The police said that a preliminary investigation revealed that an automobile driven by Lindsey Knapp, 26 years old, resident of Derby, hit her mother, Annette Knapp. The paramedics say that although he tried to take measures to save lives in the area, he succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
According to the Police of the State of New York, Lindsay Knapp was arrested on charges of involuntary manslaughter in the second degree, vehicular homicide in the first degree and serious offense of DWI.
They added that Lindsay Knapp has been transferred to the Wayne county jail to be charged and that the investigation is still ongoing.
