A new trailer and poster for Light’s upcoming family adventure ‘Migration’ has been released.
The Mallard family is in a bit of trouble. While Dad Mack is content to keep the family rowing around their New England pond forever, Mom Pam is eager to shake things up and show their kids — teenage son Dax and duckling daughter Gwen — the whole world. After a migrating family of ducks come across the pond with fascinating stories of faraway places, Pam convinces Mack to embark on a family trip to tropical Jamaica via New York City.
When mallards head south for the winter, their well-laid plans quickly go awry. The experience inspires them to expand their horizons, open themselves to new friends, and do more than they thought possible, while teaching them more about each other—and about themselves—than they thought possible.
‘Migration’ features a screenplay by Mike White (‘The White Lotus’) and features a voice cast that includes Kumil Nanjiani, Elizabeth Banks, Aukwafina, Keegan-Michael Key, David Mitchell, Carol Kane, Caspar Jennings, Tracy Ghazal and Danny DeVito. The film was directed by Benjamin Rainer.
Produced by Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri, ‘Migration’ is a film about overcoming fear and opening up to the world and its possibilities. The film is directed by Guylo Homsy (head of layout and cinematography for Song and Song 2), directed by Christian Ghazal (Happy Feet, Peter Rabbit) and produced by Colin Stimpson (The Secret Life of Pets 2).
