STUDIOCANAL UK is pleased to announce that ‘Evil Dead Rise’, the latest installment in the epic horror franchise, is now available to purchase.
Written and directed by Lee Cronin (‘The Hole in the Ground’) ‘Evil Dead Rise’ stars Lily Sullivan (‘I Met a Woman’, ‘Barkskins’), Alyssa Sutherland (‘The Mist’, ‘Vikings’), Morgan Davies (‘Son of Storm’, ‘The End’), Gabriel Echols (‘Reminisce’) ‘Evil Dead Rise’ in the UK and Ireland It was a huge theatrical box office success, grossing over five million GBP from cinemagoers.
Taking the action out of the woods and into the city, ‘Evil Dead Rise’ tells the story of two estranged siblings, played by Sutherland and Sullivan, whose relationship is cut short by the rise of flesh-based demons, and who are thrown into a primal battle for survival when faced with a more terrifying version of family.
‘Evil Dead Rise’ is produced by Rob Tapert (‘Ash vs Evil Dead’, ‘Don’t Breathe’) and executive produced by series creator and horror icon Sam Raimi and the cult legend and “Ash” himself, Bruce Campbell, with John Cavill, McDara Kelleher, Richard Brenner, Dave Neustadter, Rommel Adam and Victoria Palmieri.
Cronin is joined behind the camera by director of photography Dave Garbett (‘Z for Zacharias’, ‘Underworld: Rise of the Lycans’), production designer Nick Bassett (‘Guns Akimbo’, ‘Sweet Tooth’), editor Brian Shaw (‘Ash vs Evil Dead’, ‘Spartacus’) and costume designer ‘Spartacus’ (Spartacus’) and costume designer Sarah Ho le in the Ground, ‘Primeval’).
‘Evil Dead Rise’ is now available on digital download, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD, including a limited edition Steelbook.
