Kylie Minogue fans asked to choose their favourite Kylie Song ahead of Radio 2 in the Park

As the much-anticipated Radio 2 in the Park in Leicester approaches, excitement builds for Kylie Minogue’s headline performance on Sunday 17th September. BBC Radio 2 has launched a listener poll for ‘Your Ultimate Kylie Song’ to find the all-time favorite Kylie track.

From today, fans can visit www.bbc.co.uk/kylievote for their favorite Kylie Minogue songs that have charted in the Top 100, including songs featuring Kylie or as part of a duet. Voting closes at 4pm on Friday 4th August.

The final results will be revealed in a special chart show, ‘Your Ultimate Kylie Song’, hosted by Steve Wright. The show will be available exclusively on BBC Sound from Monday 21 August, and will be broadcast on Radio 2 from 4-7pm on Monday 28 August.

Kylie expressed her excitement at the fan initiative, saying: “The UK audience has been very supportive over the years, and I’m looking forward to hearing whether the number one track will be a new hit or a classic!” she said.

Head of Radio 2 Helen Thomas added: “Radio 2 listeners have loved Kylie since her chart debut in 1987, so when she performed on Radio 2 in the Park on Sunday night, we wanted to give them the chance to vote for their favourite. From her amazing back catalog. The counting show will be fun! “

Kylie’s longtime admirer and admirer Steve Wright said, “Kylie is an incredible artist and icon. I’ve been a huge fan since the 80s – playing her songs on my shows, appearing on Top of the Pops and interviewing her on radio and TV. I can’t wait to host ‘Your Ultimate Kylie Song’ and discover your favorite songs.

Radio 2 in the Park is set to be the biggest live music event broadcast by Radio 2 outside of London. The exciting line-up includes Saturday night headliners for their only UK festival this year and Kylie Minogue headlining her first live UK full concert show in four years on Sunday night. Also for the first time, the festival will feature a Radio 2 DJ stage, where the station’s favorite presenters will play music from the past seven decades and introduce artists on stage.
