The countdown has officially begun for the latest DC movie ‘Blue Beetle’ to hit the big screen, and as anticipation continues to build, a new trailer has been released.
Directed by Angel Manuel Soto, ‘Blue Beetle’ stars Xolo Maridueña, Adriana Barraza, Damían Alcazar, Elpidia Carrillo, Bruna Marquezine, Raoul Max Trujillo, Belissa Escobedo, Harvey Guillén with Susan Sarandon and George Lopez. ‘Blue Beetle’ will feature the DC superhero on the big screen for the first time.
Freshman college student Jaime Reyes returns home full of hopes for the future, only to find that home is not what he left it at. As he seeks to find his purpose in the world, fate intervenes when Jaime unexpectedly comes into possession of an ancient alien biotechnological artifact: the Scarab. When the Scarab suddenly chooses Jaime to be a symbiotic host, he is given an incredible armor that will forever change his destiny as the superhero blue beetle, with extremely unique and unpredictable powers.
