Following their incredible two-night show at Wembley Stadium, which attracted over 150,000 fans, legendary band Blur have announced a one-of-a-kind international tour. They will perform their highly anticipated new album ‘The Ballad of Darren’ live from London event Apollo Hammersmith on Thursday 25th July 2023 at 9pm BST.
This one-hour show, titled ‘The Ballad of Darren’, promises to be an extraordinary experience for fans around the world. It will be the first and only time the band will perform an entire album from start to finish. This special performance aims to unite fans with the new record in a joint live match, creating an intimate and unforgettable event broadcast live from London.
In the year After eight years since their chart-topping album ‘The Magic Whip’ in 2015, Blur made a triumphant return in May. They captivated audiences with a popular show at Essex’s nearby Colchester Arts Centre. The band recently released their new album and delighted fans with its first single, ‘The Narcissist’, which has amassed over 12 million streams worldwide. Last week, he released his follow-up single ‘St. Charles Square,’ described by CLASH as “horrific music” that evokes the band’s early days.
The full live one-hour performance of ‘The Ballad of Darren’ will be produced by Driift and broadcast internationally at 9:00pm London time (BST). For the convenience of fans in different time zones, the show will be rebroadcast three more times. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to watch the show on demand for two days after the first stream. Specific times for the rebroadcast and on-demand availability will be as follows.
