Wood Burnt Red signs with w21Records and set to release debut single ‘Day Drinking’

After wowing audiences with their performance at Buckle & Boots Festival earlier this summer, rising UK indie label w21Records have wasted no time in confirming Wood Burnt Red as their latest signing. Today, the label is thrilled to announce that the band’s highly anticipated debut single titled ‘Day Drinking’ will be out on July 28th under w21Records.

Wood Burnt Red received significant airplay on popular radio stations such as Planet Rock, BBC and Countryline. Their live performances in the UK only fueled their growing popularity. Behind the scenes, the band is working closely with their management and label team, paving the way for exciting developments and negotiations for upcoming music. With their infectious sound and undeniable talent, Wood Burnt Red are set to become one of the hottest acts on the UK country and Americana scene.

We can’t express how excited we are to be joining W21Records and their amazing roster. This is an incredible opportunity for us as a band and we can’t wait to work together to bring you the best that Wood Burnt Red has to offer. Our new single represents a bit of what we’re all about! Not excessive drinking, but fun, fun times with friends and family, not taking things too seriously. This is our summer song, why not make it yours. We’re really excited to have this released under w21Records,” comments Wood Burnt Red.

Speaking about their latest signing, w21Records said: “We’ve been fans of Woodburnt Red since their debut single ‘All I Need is You’ and have watched them grow in 2022 and beyond. When we saw them perform live for the first time at Buckle & Boots Festival this year, we offered them a deal on the spot. They write great songs, have a polished production and are real entertainers on stage. They are also guys who go really well with the rest of our roster. We are delighted to have the children on board and excited about what the future holds as we work with the Zymagin management team.

The group joins w21Records’ impressive roster of UK artists, including Kezia Gill, Emilia Quinn and Paul Carella, as well as US artist Brian Collins. This latest signing is a testament to w21Records commitment to supporting unique talent and nurturing diverse artists.
