Suede fans are in for a treat when the band announced that three UK headline dates have been added to their highly anticipated 2023 Auto Novel tour. Suede will now rock the stage at Electric Brixton on the 15th, 16th and 17th of December following the cancellation of their scheduled gig at the O2 Academy Brixton on the 15th and 16th of December.
Fans who booked tickets for the previously canceled O2 Academy Brixton shows will receive a full automatic refund. In an effort to minimize frustration for those who have made travel and accommodation arrangements, the band have confirmed alternative dates at Electric Brixton.
Tickets for the newly announced Electric Brixton shows go on sale to the general public on Friday 14th July at 9am BST. Pre-sale access will be available from Thursday 13 July at 9am BST.
Following the success of Suede’s ninth studio album ‘Autobiography’ and their sold-out March 2023 headline tour, December gigs are in high demand. ‘Autobiography’ debuted at an impressive #2 on the UK Albums Chart, marking Suede’s highest-charting album since 1999’s Head Music. The album received widespread acclaim and appreciation from fans.
In the year On March 29, 2023, during the first leg of their Auto Novel tour, Suede surprised their Manchester audience with a special event commemorating 30 years since the release of their debut album. The rare collection includes popular tracks from the original album era along with other popular classics and self-titled songs.
To celebrate the anniversary of their debut, Suede has unveiled a new project called ‘Suede30’. This project serves as a reminder of how the band’s debut album shaped British music and achieved critical and commercial success. Special limited-edition 30th-anniversary releases, newly remixed and mastered versions of their classic self-titled debut album are set for release on July 7, 2023. Currently in the midst of a summer festival run, Suede is delighting audiences at various festivals, including Vida Festival and Musica en Grande in Spain, Visor Fest and Siclo de las 1001 Musicas, Smukfest in Denmark and Flow Festival in Finland.
