Anne-Marie releases new track ‘Trainwreck’ – take a listen

British singer-songwriter Anne-Marie has delighted fans with the release of her latest track ‘Trainwreck’ from her highly anticipated third album. Produced by Billen Ted and written by Anne-Marie, Camille and Pleist, the song captures the feeling of freedom of breaking free from a toxic relationship.

Anne-Marie explains her take on the track, “The song is about being with someone who isn’t good for you, but you stay with them because you’re afraid of what’s to come. But, once you let them go, you will realize how much happier you are without them in your life.

In anticipation of her upcoming album ‘Unhealthy’, Anne-Marie recently released the lead single of the same name. Featuring pop/country legend Shania Twain, the country-influenced anthem has consistently climbed the UK charts and entered the top 20 last week. Directed by Olivia Rose, the official music video takes inspiration from classic western movies, as Anne-Marie and Shania engage in a dramatic scene.

Drawing from different aspects of her life, Anne-Marie’s ‘Unhealthy’ gives listeners a glimpse into her beautifully imperfect world. The album reflects on past relationships, allowing Anne-Marie to process and understand them, as well as embracing positive relationships. Through the album’s journey, listeners will experience a transition from turmoil to contentment. ‘Unhealthy’ shows an energetic and bold version of Anne-Marie, with a sense of confidence and a new sense of joy.
