Ian Munsick releases stripped-down, 5 track EP ‘Me and a Fiddle’

The talented artist Ian Munsick presents a special treat for his fans today. Five intimate and stripped down tracks from ‘White Buffalo’ on the ‘Me and the Fiddle’ EP. The EP offers an exciting musical experience that showcases Muncik’s raw talent and highlights his beautiful collaboration with violinist Tim Hayes. To immerse yourself in these soulful performances, you can listen to the EP on streaming platforms everywhere, while the accompanying live performance videos transport you to the majestic scenery of Sun Valley, Idaho alongside Munsick and Hayes.

Reflecting on the stripped-down power of country music, Munsick says, “Country music is great when you strip it down. When all the noise is gone, all the best songs translate the same (if not better) and it’s just a voice and an instrument. Well… maybe because they know I have to play two instruments. I believe these five stripped-down versions of ‘White Buffalo’ take me back to my childhood living room in Wyoming, where I first fell in love with songwriting. Back to where it all started. Just me and the sweater.

Critics praised Munsik, with The Tennessean dubbing him the “king of Western music”. His sophomore album “White Buffalo” consisted of 18 compelling songs and won awards from Billboard, America’s Songwriter, GRAMMY.com and MusicRow, among others. We gave the album a great review earlier in the year and you can read that review here. In particular, the album’s acclaimed duet with Cody Johnson, “Long Live Cowgirls,” has surpassed 100 million streams and earned RIAA Gold certification.

Fans can catch Ian Muncic’s exciting performances, his amazing fiddle and more, at various shows and festivals throughout the summer. He will also join Morgan Wall’s ‘One Night At A Time World Tour’ at Ohio Stadium and PNC Park on August 30. After that, Moonsick will embark on his own headlining tour this fall titled ‘Buffalo Romes Tour’. The tour features a rotating lineup of special guests including Giovanni & the Hired Rifle, Randall King, Tristan Mares, Kathy Offerman, Tanner Usry, Jake Worthington and Chance Williams.
