Former CBS Entertainment president Glenn Geller has joined Skybone Entertainment as its new head of television.
Skybound hired Geller to lead the company’s expansion into the US and international markets. Invincible Season 2 joins SkyBone ahead of its release on Amazon Prime.
Glenn Geller is the perfect choice to lead Skybound’s growing television business, said Rick Jacobs, Skybound’s linear content management partner. “Glenn’s experience, talent and boundless creativity will continue to fuel Skybound’s global expansion.”
Prior to joining Skybo, Geller was president of Gansa/Gordon Productions, which produced streaming, cable and broadcast programming for the company, including Fox’s The Accused and Showtime’s Gattaca.
Prior to Gansa/Geller, Geller worked as a producer at CBS Studios, where he founded his own GellerVision brand and worked on projects including the Netflix docuseries Pandemic and Fox’s America’s Most Wanted.
Geller’s credits include serving as president of CBS Entertainment, where he oversaw Young Sheldon, Special Forces, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Late Show with James Corden. He resigned in 2017 after suffering a mild heart attack.
In other CBS roles, Geller has directed more than 30 CBS prime-time series for the network and studio, including Jane the Virgin, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Mother, The Good Wife, How I Met Your Mother and “NCIS.”
“I’m excited to join the Skybound team, which is focused solely on empowering creators,” said Geller. “I look forward to the company’s continued success and more innovative stories and partners to delight fans around the world here and abroad.”
