April 12 – Artist Stanislav’s Annual Open Studio Tour 50 artists exhibit their work in four cities. Honor bands and Scottish music round out the entertainment for April 15-21 at the Gallo Center in the Modesto area.

See how artists work in their studios on the Stanislaus Artist Open Studio Tour.This year’s self-guided event features 50 artists in Modesto, Ceres, Tulloch and Oakdale. The focus will be on jewelry, ceramics, carpentry, mosaics, textiles, metalwork, painting, graphics, and photography. Music by Carol King
The Stephanie D Band pays tribute to Carole King in concert at the Gallo Center. The band’s album, To Carol With Love, was produced in celebration of the 50th anniversary of King’s Tapestry. Stephanie Damilanos’ piano and vocals are featured on hits like ‘I Feel the Earth Move’, ‘Too Late’, ‘You’ve Got a Friend’, ‘Where Are You Leading’ and more.

Skerryvor
Two brothers Daniel on accordion and Martin Gillespie on bagpipes, whistle and accordion and other musicians form Skerryvor. The band plays ceilidh music on the Isle of Tire off the west coast of Scotland. The group reached the Gallo Center.
